Famous Trails G2K Second Generation Mini Night Vision Monocular Featuring a Genuine US Military PVS-5 Image Intensifier Tube.
This Night Vision monocular may be very small, but it packs a mighty punch. It contains the excellent US Army 2nd Gen tube from a PVS-5 Pilots goggles. The monocular has only had a little use and is in good condition. The tube is quite clean and only has a couple of very small spots at the edges that in my opinion don’t affect it’s functionality in any way (this is typical for nearly all Gen 2 and Gen 3 tubes). You won’t find a better 2nd Gen general purpose monocular for the size and the money. The US made PVS-5 tube is of the highest quality and is so far superior to most commercial Gen 2 tubes and is a mile ahead of any Gen 1 monocular.
It’s 1X lens allows you to walk around with it held to your eye perfectly unlike some zoomed units and is hard to beat.
I have added a rubber eye cup that fits perfectly to the unit, which not only allows you to remain more covert so no green light can be seen around your eye but it allows for much better eye relief for prolonged use.
